ABOUT PRINCETON

Princeton, Texas was originally settled as a farming community in the 1870’s. In 1881 the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad Company extended its line from Greenville to McKinney, passing through the city and ensuring its continued growth. In 1940, a camp of 76 cabins was built west of Princeton to house over 400 migrant workers, and in February 1945, the site became a prisoner-of-war camp for Germans prisoners captured during World War II. Under a special bill, the German prisoners were paid by local farmers to work the land, and the city contracted them to work on the City Park located across from city hall. The park was built as a living memorial and shrine to those who served and died on both sides during World War II. Members of the Princeton ISD and the Princeton Lions Club have teamed up annually to hold the Princeton Onion Festival, which celebrates the city’s major cash crop. Princeton has enjoyed continuous growth since the turn of the 21st century, with the population more than doubling from 2000-2010. Mortgage and loan buyers in Princeton have seen an increase in business along with the rest of the city. As a local Texas company, Alamo Note Buyers offers a superior understanding of State laws to get you through the process of selling your note faster than anyone else!
We help note sellers turn their problems into cash, even with late payers, non payers, and missing paperwork.
