ABOUT RICHMOND
Named after a town in England, Richmond, Texas was among the first 20 cities incorporated by the short-lived Republic of Texas in 1837. Despite being one of the smaller cities in the area, Richmond is the seat of Fort Bend county. Historically, the city has housed mainly government agencies and nonprofit organizations, while the majority of private businesses were located in the neighboring town. In recent years, however, Richmond has enjoyed a steady increase in its economy and business development, due in large part to initiatives taken by the city to make Richmond more appealing to new businesses by lowering property taxes across the board. Mortgage and loan buyers in Richmond have also seen steady growth. As a local Texas company, Alamo Note Buyers offers a superior understanding of State laws, to get you through the process of selling your note faster than anyone else!
