ABOUT SLANTON

Slanton, Texas was originally founded+A1 in 1911 as a railway stop on the Santa Fe Railroad. The town site was designed in a wagon wheel fashion similar to Washington D. C., with streets reaching outward from the residential and business areas of the community. The population grew rapidly with the railroad company employees and their families. Businesses cropped up including a cotton gin and mill, the Caps and Singleton hotels, several lumber and hardware companies, dry goods and groceries and confectionaries. Cotton farming had long been established in the region and remains as one of the main staples of Slaton’s economy today. With well over 100 businesses established by the early 30’s, Slaton’s population had grown to 3,879 and 7,250 by 1970. The population of Slanton has increased steadily since the city was founded, and the local economy has likewise prospered. Mortgage and loan buyers in Slanton have also seen steady growth. As a local Texas company, Alamo Note Buyers offers a superior understanding of State laws, to get you through the process of selling your note faster than anyone else!
We help Texas note sellers turn their problems into cash, even with late payers, non payers, and missing paperwork!
